About the Role
Chief Executive Officer – Ophthalmology (Stealth)
The Opportunity
Cranmore Executive Search has been retained to appoint the founding Chief Executive Officer of an ophthalmology company currently operating in stealth.
This is a rare chance to lead a new ophthalmology business from the start, shaping its strategy, team and culture before it launches publicly. The CEO will work closely with the founders and board to turn a promising scientific and commercial proposition into a company that can be funded and scaled.
What You'll Do
• Set the company's strategy and lead it out of stealth and through its next stage of growth
• Build and lead the leadership team, and set a strong culture from the start
• Lead fundraising and investor relations, working closely with the board
• Oversee development and regulatory strategy, partnerships and the route to market
• Represent the company to clinicians, investors, partners and the wider ophthalmology community
Location
Ireland, with remote and flexible working.
Confidentiality
Because of the company's stealth status, client details are shared only with shortlisted candidates once a confidentiality agreement is in place. All approaches are treated in strict confidence.
