The Role
We are seeking a talented Scientist to join a growing R&D team. This role will focus on designing and executing experimental studies to support both molecule and technology development programmes.
You will work with a high level of autonomy on defined projects, contributing to data generation, analysis, and interpretation, while maintaining high standards of scientific quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute experimental studies aligned with project objectives
Analyse and interpret data, ensuring scientific rigor and integrity
Prepare technical reports and contribute to project updates
Apply a range of analytical techniques, including SEC-HPLC, SEM, Micro-BCA, microscopy, IEC-HPLC, ELISA, and SDS-PAGE
Support formulation development and drug delivery programmes
Identify technical challenges and propose effective solutions
Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO9001 and internal standards)
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
PhD in a relevant discipline, or MSc with industry experience
Background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical R&D
Hands-on experience with analytical and biochemical techniques
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
Experience with biologics and/or polymer-based systems
Knowledge of formulation and drug delivery technologies
Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO13485, or cGMP environments
